I generally don't like playing 20 questions with my old lady either so I've got myself a P.O. box at the local post office. Very easy to set up and they only cost like 25 bucks a year for the basic one. You can also rent one for 6 months for just over 12 dollars plus the key deposit.

I will look into downloadable clips. But there are two factors. 1 - capability and 2 - capacity.

At the risk of being shot by every member on the message board, maybe you could charge a little extra for the privilege of downloading to pay for the capacity issues. As one would not be paying for shipping, the dvd itself, and labor to burn it as well as the ability to watch the movie that day, in the end the increased price might be justified.
Opt#2 might be using an outlet like AENB.net. The site hosts thousands of adult videos for download or streaming. I have no idea how it works from a studio producers prospective so I may be totally out to lunch for suggesting it but at least it is a place to start. AEBN does seem pretty trustworthy from an end users point of view. I bought some time with them a few years ago and forgot about it. I found the site again a few months back and my account was still good with the time intact - it was like finding $20 in an old jacket!
I digress, just a few thoughts

I agree. It's a little hard for me to receive things thru the mail. I would love at the chance to download Wally's Suprise.

I would also prefer to download videos. You could even split them up into clips. You could probably host them on a site like clips4sale.com.

Speaking as someone who has downloaded clips as opposed to having them on DVD, I support downloadable content. No worries about S&H and them getting lost in the mail. Besides, people would ask too many questions if they saw it.
